Hace unas horas se entregaron los globos de oro a lo mejor del cine y la televisión por parte de la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood. SethMeyers ha sido el encargado de presentar la gala celebrada en Los Ángeles, California.
Varios de los asistentes decidieron asistir de negro en señal de protesta sobre los escándalos recientes de acoso sexual en la industria cinematográfica.
Los globos de oro son considerados como la antesala del premio Oscar lo que perfila al director mexicano Guillermo del Toro como favorito luego de ganar en la categoría de mejor director por la película The Shape of Water (La forma del agua) que está por estrenarse en las salas de cine mexicanas.
